Don't Forget....

Take Time to Smell the Roses.....

Warren and I spent a long time in our flower beds last evening.
We will have to spend many more there in the days to come.
But the difference is notable.

I have scratches from the rose thorns and stiff muscles
from the bending and pulling.

However, gardens such as Longwood (above) are
great inspirations to keep up working at it.
Hope you've enjoyed the roses today.

True enough. Beautiful gardens don't just happen. I want to see pictures of your garden someday!

Oh wow, i love those rose arches!
I read a quote once that said "Take time to smell the roses and to adore their Creator."

Gardens take work but are oh, so worth it!

Longwood is perfect inspiration, but remember they have a large staff taking care of it all!

Oh, I LOVE that top picture of Chelsea!

Our beds are overrun with weeds right now. I'm usually the main weeder and I haven't been able to do it so far this year.

Julianne has started trying to pick up some of the slack for me in the garden, which I really appreciate but I keep looking out my front window and seeing all the weeds and trying to convince myself I'll get to it one of these days. I always love when I can see a noticeable improvement. Good for you and Warren!
