Grandma Esther Photo

Never was  Grandma happier than
when watching her boys go fishing.

This was taken one Thanksgiving when
we all met in Williamsburg.

We are hunting down photos to use at
the funeral on Saturday. I like this one
the best, so far.

What are you up to today?
I'm just nosy like that!

This picture will bring back memories for the boys who went fishing.

What am I up to? Hmmm well we have a new member of our family. My stepdaughter took in a stray over memorial day weekend. She has tried to find the stray a good home. We said no more animals in our house, when our last pet died a few years back. My stepdaughter has been taking care of five, including this stray. We decided to take in the stray, so it is less of a burden for her. I'll be taking photographs soon of the newest member of our house -- a cat named Hemi. Hemi arrived late last night.

Well, I am going to have to pay attention to something else besides my new granddaughter today!

I am going to mow the yard and then take Lindsay to work, get groceries, pick up Lindsay from work, come home, then maybe I'll get to see Kamryn. They are supposed to go home today, so we will see!

I love that picture of your Esther... and I am trying to figure out her hair! Did she wear it a sort of roll in the back? It looks very becoming☺

As for me, hopefully I'll be sewing! We have started our "summer schedule" which means things are much looser around here. The littler kids are all still sleeping as a matter of fact, lol. They'll still do some school, but much less and basically just review and retain, if you know what I mean;-)

Thanks for asking!

Becky, I am so sorry about Esther. Your photo is simply stunning. Please know I am keeping your entire family in prayer. I am a huge, huge believer in the awesome power of prayer!

I am working on my studio......trying to order it for the pictures. It is a massive job but I love it.

I really like that picture, too. My girls would think she's stylin' with her paisley skirt-they both love paisley.

As for my day, I am doing laundry and hanging it outside (because it's a beautiful, sunny, non-humid day!), schooling, pulling more weeds, and trying to figure out Father's Day stuff-menu, gifts, etc.

That is a beautiful picture, almost out of a calendar or something. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

As for my day, it is not exciting at all. Just at work and obviously not working too hard :)

It's raining...again. I'm blog-hopping, but soon must get busy with biscuit making and rhubarb custard pie.

I love that photo! (I do hope that you'll also choose one that shows her wonderful smile. Have one of those?)

It's a wonderful reflective photo! I love it! I agree with Vee - some with her beautiful face, too. Whatever your family chooses, it'll be those you all love...

Oh, Becky, I'm so glad you could be with your Grandma in her last moments on earth. What a blessing! I will pray for your safe trip for the funeral.

As for what I've been up to today, I took Anthony to another jam camp, then Nick, the little and I went to Oregon Dairy for their Farm Days activities, so we can count today as the first school day of our new school year, although we are not going to be actually doing school on a daily basis just yet. We also went out to dinner and had a meeting with our insurance agent. I'll be posting photos on my blog, hopefully, tomorrow.

That is a wonderful photo! We are getting ready to take Mary to play in the park and celebrate Father's Day by taking Rich and his Dad out to Outback Steakhouse on Sunday.
