It Takes Nerve....

But I did it.
I went and had note cards made up
from a few of my photos.
I put them up at my Etsy store.

Its kind of fun to see the photos in
a new way.

My favorites are the pink mallow with the heart shaped petals
and the butterfly shots.

I'm already thinking about which photos to do next
and what logo I will put on the back.
These are just plain.

But first I have to find out if there is
a market for these,

We shall see.......
and Vee, just to let you know
I will soon take photos of the swans.
Maybe something cool will show up from that!

Edited to answer Linda's question:
No, I experimented with printing them
myself, but they just weren't what I was looking
for...too fragile.  So I visited a local printer and
had them done professionally.
I'm going to try a couple of other places, as well
but this is a start.

It has been crossing my mind recently to look into etsy to sell photographs / note cards. Do you print your own note cards? If so, what printer do you use?

Yes, I am still interested in notecards with swans. What fun to be thinking of a logo...do you have an image that would match your name? Perhaps a sweet Rebekah at the well or something for your surname. Don't mind me...just typing out loud. ;>

I was going to ask you Linda's question as well. A friend of mine keeps asking me to make her some note cards with my pictures but i just didn't know where/how to turn them into cards! You've inspired me though!

You'll definatly want your logo on the back so people who receieve your cards know where they came from and can find your site in order to buy their own if they want some.

Have a great weekend!

I tried to comment yesterday but blogger didn't like me. For some reason, Julianne was able to leave comments a while later. Grrr.

Anyhow, I love your notecards. They are beautiful. I especially love the veining in the mallow petals-and the action shot of Chelsea is really cool.
