Happy New Year!!!!

This was a very fun day. My brother, Allan, and his wife Bev are with us and we opened gifts this morning and then late this afternoon and into the evening went to Kennett Square, PA where we ate dinner at Applebees and then went to Longwood Gardens. It was lovely...
Here are some pictures from today, ok as it is 1:35 am eastern time on Tuesday, these were technically taken yesterday. Warren gets credit for taking all of these pictures.
My boys and I...at Mom's opening presents that Allan and Bev brought...we shared a few with them as well.

Chelsea got a very fun hat!

Mom and Bev at dinner at Applebees in Kennett Square.

I can tell you that I had the best sandwich I have ever eaten. It was a turkey and bacon ciabatta and it was incredible!!!! I highly recommend it!
Then we were off to Longwood Gardens...It was extremely crowded and therefore hard to take the time for the perfect camera shots, but even given that I think Warren did a very nice job.

Some Orchids that took my breath away...

Loved this tree...It looks forward to Spring.

These roses were so pretty and topped off with the many Moravian Stars. Warren's Grandmother was a Moravian and we have a star that we hang every Christmas Season. I love them.

Some beautiful shots:

I hope you can get the idea of this unbelievable wreath. It is cactus/cats and kittens. It is made on a wire base with bags of styrofoam peanuts to keep it light. The plants are wired in and this needs water only once per month. It is incredible! So unusual...

After all of that enjoyable time together we regrouped at our house and ate snacks, some are finishing a movie now...it is currently 2:00 am eastern time...

We have hopes of sleeping in tomorrow. I am not very good at that, however, and so will likely get very tired sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Anyway...I hope you have enjoyed the pictures and that you had a very enjoyable New Year's Eve and are with friends or family on this holiday.

Blessings to you, my friends.
