This post may surprise you.
It is definitely a departure from
the Cream Puffs in the last post.....
Alpaca Face |
Such funny looking animals but yet they are
so cute.....and fluffy.
Their coats are very useful for the making of
yarn. We have several Alpaca Farms in our area.

Sleepy Goat Faces |
One little known fact about me:
I love goats!
I love how curious they are.
Those little faces with intelligent eyes.
One of my dreams would be to have a farmette
including a few pygmy goats.
These guys were at the 2011 Pa Farm Show.
How in the world they were taking a nap
among the thousands of people
I'll never know.
But, I love them.
So very precious.
Thanks God
for thinking to make
goats.

The first one reminds me of a stuffed toy!
I love goats too!
Me, too! I love goats. The best description of their charm came from a farmer who told me, "They think they're people . . . and you just don't realize it yet."
How is it that I didn't know this about you?
Clarence had goats when I met him. And I married him anyhow. ;-)
I'm afraid I don't share your affection for them (but then, I'm not an animal person) but he enjoyed them. They were troublemakers, tho. You'll have to have him share stories with you next time we see each other...
I didn't know you love goats. They are fun to watch. There is a goat farm near us that has lots of little ones out in a large pasture in the Spring and I love to stop and watch them running and jumping, and, of course, I love to take pictures of them.
hello, nice post ^_^, nice to know u
I just learned something new about you! You could always put a few pygmy goats in next to the chickens!
I thought the first photograph WAS a stuffed animal!
I love goats, too! I mentioned it to my hubby, but he's already put his foot down on the goats. They are so cute and so silly!
The alpaca does look like its stuffed!
Yes, Becky - a far cry from cream puffs!
Cute. One time we had stray goats come to my house. They were so cute... a mom and an itty bitty baby goat. I bent over to pet the mom and whoop whoop voila! The baby was on my back and on my shoulder and on the roof!!!!! How fun was that. It was in early March and I felt all gypsy with them around. But we had to take them hone.
TOO CUTE! :o) I'm just crazy about alpacas! They have such funny powder-puff faces and always look like they're smiling. I dream of a mini farmette with many alpaca--and best of all, their fiber is lush to knit with...*swoon*... Sweet goats. The folks across the street from where I grew up, they had pigmy goats. My sister & I were over their for many a birth-witness of goat kids... that was magic! Goat milk cheese...mmm... Very fun post, Becky! Happy Weekend to you all there ((HUGS))
Well I would rather have the creme puffs. Ha ha
Honest...ask anyone who knows me...I love goats!! Your pictures made me so happy this morning.
