Mosaic and Blue Monday Entry...A Gift

When people hear that my Mother-in-law
lives next door there are mixed reactions.

Some look instantly sympathetic
while others wait to see how I feel
about it...however I love it when
they are just a bit
envious because then I know that
they "get it".

They get the beauty of family.

But the other day, I just had to smile when this flower
arrangement appeared on our deck table.
After comparing the flowers in it...and those in Georgia's
flower beds I knew this had to have come from her.
Then I noted the beautiful blue vase and I knew this would
be a Blue Monday Post. What I wasn't sure of was how
much she had thought that part out.

However, when I thanked her for the flowers
she suggested that I use it for a Blue Monday Post!

Yep!
We are most certainly blessed.
When your newly computer literate
Mother-in-law helps to create posts...
You've got it mighty good!

Now, for more Mosaic Monday Posts visit Mary at

Thank You, Mary and Sally!

And Thank You, Georgia,
for showing in such a sweet
way that you care about the things
that are so much fun to me!

Your MIL'S flowers are beautiful, very thoughtful of her to do that. I loved my MIL...she lived next door to me for many years, before she passed away (cancer) I still miss her very much...she was one of my best friends.

Becky as a mother myself I can't see anything wrong with MIL next door as long as she understands her boundries and allows you your privacy. How convenient for babysitting grandchildren if the situation arises! I must travel to AZ to be of service to my grandchildren...lovely flowers from your MIL...you must have a great relationship!A blessing indeed!

GORGEOUS flowers, Becky... *swoon*... And I think it's wonderful about your MIL. I'm very close to my in-laws, and we all get along so well. We live within 5 minutes drive of each other. It's great having them close by, we help each other and get together often. Wouldn't want it any other way. I feel sorry for those who don't have such a positive experience with their in-laws. :o) Happy Week ((HUGS))

You are truly lucky!
When I first got married, I chose not to live close to either set of parents and for me, it was the right move!I lived in between both ( they were an hour away from each other)

Hi Becky! Oh, what lovely flowers and the vase is gorgeous. I think it's wonderful your mother in law lives next door and I can tell you there's love there. I never met my mother in law. She had passed away before I met my husband. I've often wondered how our relation would be. I would like to hope it would be as yours is.
Be a sweetie and thanks for popping in to see me.
Shelia ;)

Family really is a blessing! My dream is to one day live in a neighborhood with my family and all my in-laws. People think I'm crazy, but I think it would be wonderful!

They say that the best way to have a friend is to BE a friend. This is the attitude you have for your mother-in-law, and look at the blessings you're reaping for having it! What a treasure she is to you and your family. Happy Blue Monday, Becky.
