Mom and Georgia brought some
interesting gifts back from
their Israel trip.
Since we weren't opening gifts
with Allan and Bev until New Years
Day I held off on showing you some
of them.
Here is one of interest on Blue Monday.
It is a Hebron Glass Vase.
Hebron Glass is blown glass.
Currently they use recycled glass
to make it but originally it was
made from sand found locally near
Hebron and salt from the Dead Sea.
Rather than recite what is already
printed on the subject I'll include
the link in case you are interested.

Just popped over from Sally's and was struck by how similar your vase is to the work of Émile Gallégie.

That is a very lovely vase. In our country that type glassware is very costly. You have a very nice piece.
