Good News/Bad News...

It is one of those nights.

The tears are flowing.

Grateful tears and sad tears.

The good news?

Georgia is home from the hospital
already and feeling great...
other than being extremely anemic.

Hopefully, we go a very long time
before another blockage...never would
be too soon!

The bad news?
My Grandma is worse.
They just took her to the
hospital. She is in rough shape.

I got to talk to her very briefly this
evening. We laughed, and enjoyed
hearing each other's voice...but her's
wasn't what I hoped for.
Each breath was labored.

The last thing she said to me was,
"Pray for me and I love You!".
I told her that I love her too!
Then we had to hang up because her
phone battery was chirping.

She has congestive heart failure and
is very, very full of fluid.
I don't know if this is the last time
I will hear her voice on this side of
Heaven...but if it is...I wouldn't change
those words for anything in the world.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks guys for the support and prayer.

It's a privilege to add my prayers to yours this evening. Hang in there and trust God. It sounds as if your grandmother is trusting Him.

Wonderful news about your mother-in-law.

Dear Becky, I'll be praying for your Grammy., I was very close with my Grandma who lived to the age of 92 and I still dream of her...we were so close. My prayer will be that if Jesus is ready for her that he takes her home quietly and serenely...and if He's not that He will restore her health so she can have joy in the last years of her life without laboring for each breath she takes. THere is nothing like the love of a grandma and the relationship she has with her grandchildren. May the Lord give you a sense of peace tonight as He reminds you that He has your Grammy in the palm of HIS hand! ;) ~CC Catherine Happy Easter!

Oh dear friend....

My prayers are with you and your Grandma. Is this your mom's mom or your dad's?

I am praying for peace for you all.

My dear sweet Becky,
I so truly understand what you are going through right now. I remember those last wonderful conversations and visits with my beloved Grandma. How precious they were and still are to me.

Please know my sweet friend that I am praying for you, and you sweet grandma. May God so lovingly wrap his gentle and loving arms around both you and your grandma.

Also, I have an award for you over on my blog. Please, as time allows, stop by and get it. You truly deserve it.

My Love & Prayers to you always,
Ronda
