Breakfast at the Golf Course

On Saturday we frustrated Chelsea by changing up
where we would normally go if going out to breakfast.

Did that make sense?
In other words,
we don't go out every Saturday
but when we do it is normally to
one particular restaurant.

Chelsea loves their Home Fries
and so was looking forward to them.

I, however, had a hankering to
eat looking out over the local
golf course. Something new...
and different.

We had been here once before, on a
Sunday, and right before they were
ready to close. So I can't say that
it was leisurely or really that
enjoyable...but I thought the food
was good.

There we sat...overlooking the golf course as the snow
melted and the grass tried to wake up
in the warmth of the springy day.

This was the beautiful view from our
table. The large pine trees were
gorgeous. It was just so relaxing.

We will have to do that again.

Once again, everything was tasty
and had "golf inspired" names.
I believe that I had the "Birdie".
You would know that as Eggs Benedict.

It was so good.
Made to perfection...I think...
I've never actually eaten Eggs
Benedict before...just seen it
on those cooking shows that
Chelsea loves to watch.

Our conclusion?
Breakfast on the golf course
is a good thing. We will do
that again sometime.

Well, today is a busy day and
so I will be on my way...

Have a great one!

Hi Becky!
Sounds like you had a great time eating at the country club! I'm so glad to hear that your son is going to get some help with his pain. Have a wonderful day friend!

Absolutely beautiful header picture, Becky! You've chosen my very favorite flower to share. :o)

We tend to be creatures of habit so heading out to a new place would be an event for the memory books. Love that you chose such a pretty area that happens to have a restaurant with way cool foodie names on the menu.

I also like your new picture in your header...(especially since pink is my favorite color)

I also tend to be a creature of Habit (as you said in your post) That really describes me...I have to remember too the great adventures that are out to experience when we're (meaning me) willing to try new things...
Blessings, Jill

I admit they provide relaxing views. They are so peaceful providing you don't see a drunk golfer making bets on the fairway. My hubby would've been so happy...food AND a golf course. The only better thing would be playing afterwards.
