Just Imagine...

A soft spoken mountain stream...
or the best day ever - riding mountainsides.

A hammock hung in the back yard trees...
Or a puzzle to
while away a winter's evening.

A Sunset begging to be seen...
or a horse - inviting you to
begin an adventure all your own.

An interesting tower to explore...
or a large gauge train on a track nearby.

Just imagine the beautiful
opportunities in any season.

Live a beautiful life involving those things
that require just a little bit of extra effort.

Just for once...don't mop the floor today.
Instead take some time to enjoy a view...

Call your children.
Invite them to join
you on an adventure
that says they are
important to you.

Give your spouse a
special gift...
your time.
Undivided attention
and hand holding.

Honor your parents
with a hug.
Maybe a few hours spent
enjoying sweet friendship.

Take an hour or two
and share lunch with a
friend...

Just for today...drop those things
that keep you busy.

Life is just too beautiful to miss.

The busy things of life will wait for you.
The passing of time impacts our relationships.

Embrace life.
Enjoy it.

Share it with those you love.
Time invested in people
means more than we know...

Sigh..... thanks for making me slow down a bit to enjoy the photos! I asked blogger about the feed, it seems that private blogs do not get a feed so you cannot tell when I have posted a new post unless you check. bummer.

Sounds good...nice and slow and easy and fun. Very inspiring. I'll take that hammock! ;o) Happy weekend to you all ((HUGS))

Nice pictures!

Thanks for permission to skip mopping my floor. I'm always looking for a reason not to do it.;-)

I, too, love the feel of the French bread dough. It is smoother and nicer than almost any other bread I make. I understand your enjoyment-somehow, it is comforting to work with it.

I'm sure Warren will be asking you to make bread if you do "get over it". lol My family was sure glad you posted about it and got me wanting to make it.

Thank you for this nice post, the photos are lovely. Is the tower the one at Longwood gardens? If not it still reminded me that we need to make a trip again to Longwood it's been a few years since we have been there. Blessings, Jill

Jill,

You are right. That is the tower at Longwood Gardens. The train was there, as well. The tower is Jonathan's favorite place to hang out when we go.

Becky, this was great! I would love to play checkers in front of an old-time store like that. Napping in a hammock would be lovely or reading...okay, I'm taking you up on it. My hubby is reading and I'm going to get my magazine and go sit with him and read, too.

I especially loved the part about giving your spouse undivided attention and hand holding! How easy it is to let that part of life slip away as time goes on. Great reminder to SLOW DOWN. Thanks Becky!
