Birthday Love

This is the first year of my life that someone younger than me decorated my birthday cake. Georgia made me a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing before she left...so this is cake number two.

Maybe that helps to explain the four pound weight gain that the doctor mentioned the other day...I apologized to him...but he said it wasn't him I should be apologizing to. Oops! What a card!
And wasn't it nice of him to point it out?

Thank you Chelsea!
I love it!
And it tastes good too!
I'll be enjoying more a little bit later.

My Mom gave me gifts before she departed on her trip of a lifetime.
Isn't this sweet?

And the card to the left...
from our church.
Crafted by Kelly at Cozy Comforts.
I love it so much!

Mom also gave me these fun picnic accessories.
You put onions, relish, catsup or mustard in these fun
little guys.

The little grills hold tealights.
I pushed them together for the picture.
I know it doesn't look natural.
I need to find good places to display
the new gifts. Hopefully I can trade them
out with some things that can go to my upcoming
yard sale.
It is never good to just keep adding!

This birthday was a fun one.
I love being 41!

Warren and I hope to get out to dinner
later this week. He had an obligation
last night that just could not wait.

Have a happy day!
Tomorrow I hope to post about two favorite books.
One a Birthday gift and the other a library find.
Ya'll come back now...
