I want to take these days of our lives
and preserve them somehow!
I just love the enthusiasm and energy
of having multiple teens in the house.
Add their friends
and what do you get?
Even more fun!
That has been our pattern for
many weekends now.
One, or more, of the boys
friends will stay all or part of the
weekend.
I love it!
Yesterday,
for the first time since Sunday,
I opened the cereal cupboard.
for the first time since Sunday,
I opened the cereal cupboard.
This is what I found!
From one of the friends to
our apparently
Pop-tart Protective
daughter!
Funnier...
he used two stickers that
go on the bottom of my candles
as tape.
Resourceful!
I love my life!!!!

It's such fun to read fun posts. Your grins are catching...
Oh how I love this post Becky!!
We're all about kids this week! I love this post! In some ways I dread the teenage years with my boys, having already experienced it once with my daughter, but little things like this really remind me how fun it can be. Thanks for sharing! And thanks for visiting me yesterday.
Have a lovely day!

I know just what you mean. For a time in my life I was blessed with a home full of teens. My son's friends used to be at our house all the time. I loved cooking for them, listening to their laughter... it was such a wonderful and happy experience. I understand your knowing that it is only a season. It will pass, but the happy memories will invade their hearts and yours forever. Our little band of friends had three very severe tragedies that we had to endure in the midst of our happier times. I will never forget their little group huddled together during these tragedies and one of them said to me, "OH, wouldn't it be more fun to be making nachos and watching movies?" I understood what they meant.... Your blog today touched a real chord with me. Hugs.
It is nice knowing there are parents out there that still take a part in the children lives. This is a wonderful younger generation post.
Loved your winter tale ...
Our house was like yours, everyone's kids 'lived' at our home. Loved it.
