Finding Joy...

Just a "few" references to this
wonderful word...JOY...
and the source of our Joy!

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.
Psalm 5:11

You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Psalm 16:11

The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
Psalm 19:8

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 29:7

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
Psalm 30:11

Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
Psalm 33:1

The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.
Psalm 65:13

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you... I, whom you have redeemed.
Psalm 71:23

There is a child's song that says,

"I've got joy
down in my heart.
Deep, deep down in my heart.
J-O-Y down in my heart
Deep, deep down in my heart!"

Hope that JOY
bubbles to the surface and
shows itself in praise and
testimony!

Have a very joy filled day.

What beautiful pictures to go along with all the verses about joy. It's my oldest daughter's middle name, and it fits her well. Thanks for your comments about my pumpkins too. I only grew one plant. It grew one beautiful pumpkin earlier in the season and I thought that would be it. When it turned orange and we picked it, the vine suddenly started growing more pumpkins. I think we've ended up with 7 or 8 from that vine.
Blessings,
Marcia
