I don't remember if it was
wind or children that were
the cause of his demise...
But last year was
his final appearance.
I just loved his attitude.
I have so much work waiting
for me, outside.
It looks like I will have
to send some of my young
helpers outside to "play".
Cutting off the hostas,
Washing the siding,
pulling the weeds... and
then maybe I'll reward them
with a little decorating fun.
Pumpkins and straw...
perhaps a scarecrow or two.
Have a happy day!

aaawww...poor little scarecrow... I hope you'll find a new one, Becky--and just as cute & fun! :o) ((HUGS))
Cute scarecrow! I guess you'll have to find a new one to welcome your visitors now that he's gone to scarecrow heaven. =)
Maybe he's off having a Wizard of Oz experience!
I know what you mean. My storage area is so full of my children's items at the moment as they are transitioning from one house to another that my fall decor, including my cuter than cute scarecrow, is stashed so far in the back I can't get to him. I guess he'll need to rest until next Fall.
He is so cute, Becky. We have two that I need to retire....just can't bring myself to do it. Ha.

Sounds like fun!
Very cute story. He had spread enough pleasure and moved on.
Sounds like fun Becky!! Scarecrows are cute...well that one anyways!! Have fun putting up cute fall things!!
I had a similar little scarecrow who made his final appearance last year as well... I saw some new ones at the store recently, but they just don't seem as cute as my old little guy somehow:( I'm thinking we'll have a scarecrow free porch this year;)
He was really cute!
Guess it's time to go shopping huh?
I hope you can find another one as cute as he was.
Love & Prayers,
Ronda
