On The Agenda Today....

Well, you probably thought I was going to say
making candles....but you would be wrong.

Today, I will meet a friend at church and we will
begin the process of painting a small room that will
serve as a nursery of sorts.

You see we have a larger room where all of the
children rush to play as soon as the service is done.
But we also have younger ones who need to nap
during the service or fellowship meal time.

One of our ladies recently had a "brand new" baby
(as if there was any other kind)
and a new family has a one year old.
So, we have
outgrown the one port-a-crib
and one room.

I awoke early this morning all excited about taking
a dark, cramped room and painting it a soft yellow
with crisp white trim.  I have sweet decor for the walls
and I can just picture this room in my head.
So fun!!!!

So, anyway, that will take care of my morning....

Then to come home and process paperwork for
my large fundraiser.  The orders are coming in fast
and furious.  I have assigned myself a procedure that
is done with each and every order so that nothing is
missed.  So, I will do that with the orders received today
and then it is off to take Miss Chelsea to work.
Yes, I get to make that lovely drive.
It is amazing how it has changed over the past months.
From leaves being thick and full....mostly green,
to the yellow, golds and reds,
and now they are almost gone.

Each step so beautiful in its own way.

After dropping Chelsea off I will go to
my supplier for one hundred pounds of
soy wax.  I have gone through about three
hundred pounds so far this season.
That, my friends, is a lot of wax!

Then home to make dinner and off to a
Mom's meeting with our homeschool co-op.
It will be nice to spend the evening with friends.
Encouraging, sharing and spurring each other on
in love.  In today's world we need all of the
encouragement we can get.....there is something
so very special about passing on tips and helps
to someone who is walking a journey you have
already walked.

So, you can see, I have a busy day ahead.
But it is one with purpose.
Living life with purpose is GOOD.
Reminds me of Jesus.
He came with a purpose
and it was GOOD!

Jesus was very important to my Dad.
Today we "celebrate" the fifth year
of his entrance to Heaven.
I am so very, very thankful
that he knew Jesus
and that
he accepted the gift of
eternal life
offered freely
to him but paid so dearly
for by our Savior.

As Dad drew closer to Heaven's door
you could just see him detaching from
the things of this world.
He expressed his overwhelming
love for Jesus when he said
with feeling,
"Jesus is my best friend."

Dad meant that with his
whole heart......
I am so glad.

Hi becky, thank you for your visit yesterday. I am catching up today. I loved your snowmen cups. I love the holiday seasons so much.

Your job to paint a dark room bright with a nice yellow sounds like a good plan. Our babies need to have sunshine in their lives. I know you will love doing this.

Your day is busy like mine always is...I wouldn't have it any other way. Someone just gave me a soy candle as a gift and I am loving it. I will be checking your website.

Have a wonderful busy day.
Hugs, Jeanne

ps: that IS a lot of wax. My dad is in heaven too. I miss him so much.

I have not stopped by for awhile. So, thanks for adding a comment on my post to remind me to come for a visit. I hope your painting project was satisfying. I am glad your church is growing by adding children. Truly, I wish I had had more chidden. :) Hope your homeschooling year is going well. Love to you..I still remember Joseph with fondness. Maurie

Oh, pictures! of that sweet nursery to be. What fun! I'll bet your drive is beautiful every single day of the year ... I know we so enjoy the seasons as we come your way. Didn't make it this fall, tho. Enjoy it for me.

So glad that the business is really booming.

May your Father RIP. Bless his soul.

Have a beautiful day ~
