Lasagna....It's What's For Dinner!

Maybe I should eat some breakfast before I 

start getting excited about dinner....

but oh how we love lasagna!

 I have the lasagna noodles that I no longer

pre-boil.  As they soften during the baking 

process they absorb all of the delicious flavors

of the sauce and cheeses.  Note:  If you have

not done it this way, you definitely need to 

add extra water to the sauce and keep it 

covered for the majority of the baking time.

Many lasagna noodle boxes now have 

instructions for this method.

I have the cottage cheese and sour cream.

This is my Mom's substitute for Ricotta.

Each dropped in teaspoon dollops,

alternating as we go.

We love it.

I have the ground beef and tons of cheese.

Ooo-ey, goo-ey cheese.

Mmmm.....

But now I had better get something for

breakfast or the kids will find me making

and eating lasagna at 9:00 am.

I wonder what a lasagna omelet 

would look and taste like?
