Sweet Chelsea

Is fighting Anorexia right now.
She is strong but needs your prayers.
We are winning, but it is a daily battle.
In the end she wants to find a way to use
this to help others.
Therefore she is keeping a journal and has
asked me to find a place that she can reach out
to others with this disorder some day.
Too many struggle silently.
We will call it out and
fight against it
with the Lord's help.

My beautiful girl
has approved this post....

Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:3
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.
Exodus 15:2
As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the LORD is flawless.
       He is a shield
for all who take refuge in him.
2 Samuel 22:31
It is God who arms me with strength [a]
       and makes my way perfect.
2 Samuel 22:33, Psalm 18:32
O LORD my God,
I called to you for help and you healed me.
Psalm 30:2

You know we'll be praying.

Chelsea is a beautiful girl, inside and out, and I am happy to include her in my prayers as often as God brings her to mind.

Chelsea has my prayers.

Here, we are working with a failure to thrive. Two challenging and very different ends of the spectrum I'd say.

The Lord will win this battle for your girl as she yields herself to Him. May it be used for His glory.

Gentle hugs...

It is so evident from the pictures and things you've shared on your blog that Chelsea has such a sweet spirit.

I'm adding her to my prayer list.

We are so on this, Becky... we will continue to keep Chelsea and all on you in our prayers. May the Lord just surround Chelsea with his unconditional and unrelenting love and help her fight this battle, both physically and mentally. We love Chelsea to pieces and want to help in any way we can....

What a brave girl for sharing her struggle so that others may gain wisdom! The Lord will surely bless her and protect her!

Becky, I just prayed for Chelsea that the Lord will keep her in all of her ways and help her overcome this battle. What a brave girl she is and so pretty! And I'm proud of her for letting you post this. Love the pictures of her with your sweet little dog. Is that Chloe? She looks like my former little babies who were Min Pins.

Warm Hugs...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Oh, Chelsea, you are such a beauty! I know you will be very successful in handling your journey.

Becky, how could she not be successful in her journey with a wonderful warm & loving Mother like you ...

My heart goes out to you both, but I pray that all proudly is surmounted.

Hugs, Marydon

Praying for Chelsea. A friend of ours just started a journal blog for the same thing if you would like to see her thoughts. She is a Christian young woman!! Let me know!

Such a sweet, brave girl... She will pull through. With the love & support of family & friends, all will be well. Sending many prayer her way, and to all of you who are behind her daily. When I was in my last two years of high school I dealt with the same. I took laxative and basically ruined myself for a period. It was a stressful time for many reason, and I couldn't handle real eating. Such a long time ago. Seeing Chelsea smiling though brought back how my family pulled me out of the dark. I pray it will be the same for your dear daughter, Becky :O) ((HUGS))

Chelsea is such a good friend! When we first started going to church together I really didn't know her, but just about a year later she is one of my BEST friends! If I ever need to vent..she listens, if I have ever needed help..she's been there. I would love to return the favor, in ANY way.

Praying for you guys!

Dear Becky,

Know that I will most certainly keep sweet Chelsea in my prayers.

The one thing I know for sure, our Heavenly Father has promised to be there when we call. He also promised that His Word would never pass away. He loves us with a love that we clearly cannot comprehend and wants only the very best for those that love Him.

Smiles.....

As you know, I have been praying for Chelsea, as well as for you and Warren, for a couple of weeks, actually almost a month now, and I'm not going to stop praying. And, with all the prayer support that I have just read in these comments, Chelsea will certainly have victory over this problem, for God hears the prayers of His people.

If I can help in any way, please don't hesitate to call.

Becky,

I just found this post about your sweet Chelsea. Please know I am praying for her, and all of you.

One of my sisters struggled with this for many years. She came out victorious, but she still has a few small struggles from time to time. We found out that in reality only one has this disorder, yet the entire family is affected, and their generous love and support, is crutial.
I know how hard this must be for you and your sweet hubby. I am praying for you two also.

Please know I am praying.!!! For all of you! Christ will bring you all victoriously through!

Love & Prayers,
Ronda
