Because they seem to be glowing. |
|
Because it speaks of friendship and fun. |
|
Because he takes such pride in his work. In this photo Mikey is taking time to admire the work of a co-worker. |
|
Because Jonathan is a sweet, obedient and caring young man who is on the right path. |
|
Because it reminds me of our special Saturday visits to Starbucks with Chelsea. |
|
Just because I loved the color contrast and the graceful reach of the vine. |
|
|
Because it is pleasing to the eye. |
You can see that most of my favorite photos would not win contests.
However, they are of value in our collection.
They speak of things and people that
impact our lives.
What are your favorite photos?
Why?

Photographs give insight into our lives. If this were the first time I had visited your blog, I would take away with me from your photographs that you love your children very much.
My family pictures of course! Just like you Becky. Special times, special memories. Mine wouldn't win any awards either - just precious to me! I have a picture of my Josh, my middle son, when he was about 18 mos old. It was summer, it was hot and we had no pool. So, we ran some water in a bucket and he played in it forever! I have a photo of him sitting in the bucket with his hair pointed up like Alfalfa on the Little Rascals. It's the cutest thing in the world (to me) and I wouldn't take for it!
I think it's the memories that looking at the photos bring. A
lso how you felt when that picture was taken. I think that's why I love scrapbooking. YOu relive that event and you can go back in time. Love your pictures and your comments.
I LOVE this post, Becky... I love how your words & thoughts pair so beautifully with each photo, each scene--like telling a story. Very photo of Chelsea & her friend keeping the Dunkin' Donuts coffee steady! ;o) I must have a think about my photo... there are so many--I could do a week's worth of posts like this...LOL! HAPPY Weekend to you all :o) ((HUGS))
I love the beautiful photos my daughters take...ones of my family...photos of Longwood Gardens which bless me because of the beauty of the place and the peace of it.
Of the ones you posted I love the one of the girls holding the coffee up!
Fun stuff!
Oh I like these very much for all the same reasons that you do. As artsy goes...the one of Jonathan and the other of the vine.
The lighting makes those tulips look like a painting to me. I like all the pictures you shared-I think you have a great eye!
In my opinion all your photos are prize winners because they are important to you. I love the way you shared some of your personal thoughts and beauty with us..
Becky, your photos are lovely. Thank you for sharing them and for the sentiments and meaning behind each one.
Nice photos. I will take the challenge to find my own favorite photos from my files and do a post next week. I like the idea. Thanks for sharing your favorites.
Such good memories! Each of them have a great story.
