Tough Days at Hospitality Lane

So I will show you
pretty pictures of Bandit
and Oliver.

Broken Cars.
Injured Son.
Broken Tooth.
Pain in the Neck.

Sick Grandma.
Husband away on business.
Taxes Due.

 There is nothing that promises us
Heaven on this Earth.
However, we serve a God who is
full of Compassion and Love for
His People.

Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
       and his righteousness endures forever.
  He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
       the LORD is gracious and compassionate.
  He provides food for those who fear him;
       he remembers his covenant forever.
Psalm 111:3-5
The LORD is gracious and compassionate,
       slow to anger and rich in love.
  The LORD is good to all;
       he has compassion on all he has made.
  All you have made will praise you, O LORD;
       your saints will extol you.
Psalm 145:8-10

But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

It is just one of those weeks
that happen every now and then.

It can't be mountaintops all of the time!
Bummer!

But God is faithful.
Praise the name of the Lord!

"For I know whom I have Believed
and Am Persuaded
that HE is able."

Definitely sounds like a day you need to sit down and eat a pint of your favorite ice cream. Hope tomorrow is better for all. Your flowers are so pretty and the pets made me SMILE!

Hi Becky, I'm sorry. Sounds like the world is crowding in on you. I believe most of us can understand but the good news is: your attitude is great. You are trying. God sees this and He will come to your rescue. Our attitude makes all the difference in the world.

Sending you hugs, blessings and my prayers during this time.

We were never promised a rose garden. You just seem to stepped in the sticker patch this week. Your faith and strength will see you through.

Praising God that though your son is injured, he's ALIVE! And though your husband is away, I'm sure he'd rather be HOME. And taxes due mean that you have INCOME. And although Grandma is sick, she enjoys being reminded of Him through HYMNS. And you, dear friend, though you are down, remember Him who made you and loves you and that you are at PEACE.

You have a wonderful attitude, Becky! Having an attitude of gratitude can take one a long way. Love the scriptures you shared. Take care of yourself and know that the Son is shining upon you. Prayers going your way.

Blessings,
Sandi

Becky,
So sorry to hear that you are having "one of those weeks". I guess we all have those from time to time but that doesn't make it much easier to bear. I will pray for you and your entire family... please let me know if I can do anything to help in any way.

Praying,

Judy
