This Evening....

The ladies of our church will
invest a few hours in the lives
of some special young ladies.
Mindy and Hannah
Chelsea and Emma

We are celebrating our three graduates
and two sweet 16th birthdays
with an evening of
sharing and fellowship.

Mom's, Grandma's, Sisters
and friends will come together
to share bits and pieces of
their lives with the girls.

They have been encouraged to seek
out scripture or stories from their
own youth that will be of benefit to
the young ladies as they enter
this next
stage of life.

I am praying that this evening will be one
that these girls will long remember
and one that will allow them to realize that
they are surrounded by women who
love them dearly and are committed
to pray for them.

It is fitting for the ladies of the church to come
around these girls and offer their love and support
in the days and years to come.

I cannot wait!

I raided Chelsea's picture files.....

What a wonderful way to help these girls as they go through this transition from high school student to young adult. I wish I could be there :)

Lovely young ladies spending quality time together! AWESOME! Love the life that you are teaching Chelsea! She will live it when she is out on her own!

Have a blessed day my friend! HUGS!

Sounds like a wonderful evening of sharing and fellowship. Perhaps the ladies will share something that you can pass on to us. There is so much wisdom in a group of God-honoring women. Love the expressions on the gals' faces...they "light up" when with each other I can tell.

Ladies Night... I love that--and what fun! I like when all generations come together--we all have love and something to share. Such pretty girls--the future just shines in their eyes, doesn't it?! Happy Week, Becky! Oh, I am actually launching a new blog today, with new creative focus--I'm very excited about it. In a few weeks I'll be closing Pink Purl. Thanks for visiting me there. :o) ((HUGS))

Pour into them the hope, wonder and joy of being a woman in Christ, that I know each of you ladies hold dear. Tell them, my prayers are with each and everyone of them. I miss them dearly.

There's no better investment than sharing in the lives of the next generation. I just read Psalm 145:4 which says, "One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts." So bless you for being a blessing and have a great day!
