My to do list is short . . . a little laundry, stay cool, a little dusting, stay cool, put dinner in the crock pot, stay cool, you get the idea. 105 here today, still no relief in sight. I'm praying for rain too, Ruth.

I am agreeing in prayer for rain. We have friends who are counting on their corn crop for a move next year. They are very worried...and I don't blame them.

Summer images are so alluring and they conjure up so many warm and wonderful memories. LOVE PEACHES!

• Loomi, a Middle Eastern spice. (See a Sub-lime find, a couple of posts down on my blog!
• Za'tar, another Middle Eastern spice used on pita bread for making Manaish!
• Fresh fruit at the Boise Co-op!
• Adventure!

Becky... I revised the post you looked at today. I am going to be conducting a GIVEAWAY, so stop by later today!

Smiles, KJ

I wish you had been with me for breakfast... Mom and I shared a huge, perfect peach. We could have sliced one for you, too! Laundry folded... Lunch with Mom and supper with two dear friends... Also praying for rain in Missouri. Our crops wither on the vine, and we are waiting on the rain.

I went out with Rachel and got groceries, including Red Haven peaches! We did lots of errands and had a wonderful time together!

Now I am about to put four quarts of peaches into the water bath canner....

Did you find peaches???

Becky K. said...

I did find peaches!! to make something fabulous!
I also found ribbon for test packaging.
I did not find a purple dress photo yet. I'll have to do that next week.
I'm looking forward to (hopefully) helping to raise money for Crohn's Disease Awareness through the Purple Dress Project.
