Saying Good-bye to Our Little Friends

 Doing childcare at MOPS
has not been Chelsea's favorite assignment
this year.
She is attached to her young friends
at Change of Pace...
but has been moved from room to
room at MOPS so she hadn't really connected
with any children in particular until
recent weeks.

Then she came into my
infant room.
Here she fell in love.
These little ones adore her.
Where I used to be the one that they
turned to, they now want Chelsea.

She calls them her "little minions".
A reference to the movie Despicable Me.
It is precious to see her playing with them.

This is our last day.
We don't plan to go back next year.
It is not close to our house and with
gas prices going so high I think
unless the Lord directs otherwise we
will not do it again.

But, I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
Watching as the first year of life
showed its many changes in our little charges.
I so enjoy seeing them grow, teethe, learn to walk
and go through developmental milestones.
It has been good.

Now, to get to it.
Have a wonderful day!
We are getting tons and tons
of liquid sunshine.
Nearly three inches in just a couple
of hours last evening.
We drove through a lot of
street flooding.
Scary!!
It is raining again this morning.
By Saturday it is supposed to clear off.
We will see.

Oh my friend, isn't it wonderful watching the little ones grow? Gas prices make us all change our routes and ways of doing things!

Have a blessed day and try to stay dry! HUGS!

That weather report sounds familiar... My same attitude exactly...we shall see.

The Lord knows that the economy reeks so I'd think that you are making a wise choice. You're open to hear His voice if He directs differently. I can just imagine Chelsea and her "minions." Ha!

We've been getting lots of rain too. I will be happy when the sun returns again!
