Last week after I posted the Iris photos
my Mom called and said her peonies were
open and gorgeous.
She said she didn't mind if I wanted to come
and take photos.....
Well, I took her up on that!
Peonies happen to be one of my favorite
flowers....but when I think of them I think of
the traditional big puffy flower.
She has a few of those but she also
has a bunch of these pretties.
Of course while I was there I wandered
around the yard to see what else was
looking good.
Love this potted Impatien on a chair.
So cute!
Finally I thought these flower balls
were very pretty.
So delicate...
Thanks Mom!
I love your gardens and your attention
to making things beautiful!

I have never seen an impatient like that - the flowers are big! Very pretty flowers, my peonies are almost over for the season...but they were stunning!
Deanna,
It is called a New Guinea Impatien.
They tend to have a larger flower and deeper green, shiny leaves.
Those are beautiful!
Thank you for showing me that variety of peony. I'd have thought it was a rose or something. Beautiful! Looks as if you didn't fall too far from the tree, Becky, as you and your mom have similar tastes and styles...I'm thinking of your tea pot and your mom's impatiens.
So pretty! Love your mom's garden!
Mamas have the prettiest flowers:) Love them all! Thanks for sharing all of these beauties with me!
Have a blessed day my friend, HUGS!
Beautiful flowers and beautiful photos! I love peonies too:)
