When Life Feels Overwhelming....

and it does right now,

I will remember this passage
from Psalm 121.
I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber.

This is a verse that God is using in my
life this week....

2 Chronicles 20:15
"Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.
For the battle is not yours, but God's."

Ahhh....all of the things that are trying to overwhelm me and bring me to my knees are not mine to fight. They are His. I will rest in Him. He will deliver us from this struggle.

I know I am not alone in feeling this way.
If you are going through hard times.
If you feel as if your strength is gone and
you cannot do more...then you, and I,
are exactly where
God wants us.

Leaning on Him.

There is so much comfort in the Word of God! I am in a season right now where the Word is absolutely reaching into the core of my being! Last week, I felt like God wrote me a love letter every single day!

I am so glad that you are getting to know Susy! She is one incredible woman! I also read your comment about both your mom and MIL living right near you! That is so cool! Life is a vapor. It's wonderful to be able to savor our loved ones.

Hugs, KJ

Dear Becky,

I have experienced many overwhelming moments while traveling along this journey called life, many to numerous to count. But one thing I know for sure, no matter what it looks like our God has it all in complete and total control.

I love Psalm 121 and it has so helped me through some dark days. Oh my what would we do without His Word, it's not only a word but our God's Promised Word. It stands and stands forever:o) He is the same yesterday, today and forever more. I have never met you face to face dear Becky, but your love for our Saviour shines clearly through your lovely blog and those sweet comments you never fail to leave me:o) You are a jewel and the apple of God's eye. Be encouraged my friend, it will pass...He guarantees it:o)

Keeping you and your sweet family in my prayers. Happy week to you:o)

Smiles....
