Very often when I walk the dogs
I wish I had brought the camera.
Yesterday, I remembered.
So my fingers froze while I snapped
many shots of snowy vistas.
Sometimes I had to hold the camera
over my head to reach over a snowbank.
One time I had to crawl on the snowbank,
camera in one hand, pulling Bandit and Bear
(Mom's Dog) along with me.
They did not understand!
All of this to avoid being hit by a
truck passing by the much narrowed by
snow road.
I'm not complaining.
This is winter.
It is good and
very beautiful.
We received a wee bit
more snow yesterday.
'Cause apparently we needed it!
This morning I am mentally preparing
to go back out there. These pictures
help. Knowing the beauty that awaits!
Have a great day!!!

Such splendid views, Becky... ah, PA in winter! :o) Happy Week ((HUGS))
I think the snow is pretty too.I've had enough of it now. I'm longing to see flowers and green grass in the worst way!!
I hope it all melts by the time I get up to Philly for the Flower Show this year as I do not even own boots. Do you go up to the Flower show? I love it. My son and DIL finally went to work today after not having work for 6 days. Talk about cabin fever they said for me to send them up some MENTAL HEALTH professionals for their cabin fever:)

Beautiful! I wonder how long it will take to melt?

HI! Just came over from Melissa's blog, so glad I found you! I am in Landenberg, Pa. which is only about 40 mins. from you! My snow views look just like yours! It IS all beautiful but I am READY FOR SPRING!!!!!! Take care and stay warm! Pinky
I just hope we don't have a quick warm up and the snow melting quickly...we might drown in the mud it would create!
It is lovely...and it makes me thankful for the changing seasons!
Becky, I can't believe what you have to go through to take these pictures but they are amazing!!!
It is cold here.....but nothing quite like this. Yikes!

Hey Becky - these pictures are so pretty. Some people look at them and say 'blue sky, white snow, brown trees'. I say, look at all the subtle color changes - the pinks, the golds in the sky, the purples, lavenders, the myriad shades of blue shadows in the snow, even the greys are beautiful, the icy colors of the pond & the brilliant light of the sun's reflection on the snow! There is so much variation in all those basic colors! It's like a rainbow! Guess that's the artist in me...does anyone else see that?
Becky, I love, love, love your good attitude today. The pictures are lovely...I am feeling a bit snow weary though over here in New Jersey.

What pretty pictures! I bet you are looking forward to the spring thaw!
I think it is extremely beautiful from you and your cameras eye...I prefer my vistas from my window...beautiful photos.
Those photos of the snow are beautiful. You have such a different view than we do. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Marcia
Although I am so sick of snow (I say this as it is truly snowing and sleeting again and will all today) I loved your beautiful winter photos. It made me stop and realize there is beauty all around us no matter what the season.
