Fluffing the House

My Dear husband is coming home today after nearly a week away. I was purposefully vague in the post about his trip because I don't personally know everyone who may be reading here.

So... the kids and I are cleaning and grocery shopping. We've planned a menu fit for a king. Chelsea has a delightful plan to use dessert shells, fresh and frozen fruit, ice cream and toppings to make a gourmet dessert. She is a Food Channel fan.

While I made a dash to the local grocery all three cleaned the house from top to bottom.It looks inviting and welcoming...we want Daddy to be glad he is home. He has been up since 3:00 am Central time.

I have missed him, terribly. There are many issues that come up that I take to him. One...would be the camera/computer/picture issue. I'll do my best to wait patiently until he has had a good night's sleep to bug him with that. The most important this week that I really wished he was here for related to raising teenage boys. Boy, do I feel for the single moms out there. I know I cannot comprehend the half of it! I just had a tiny taste and it was tough!

Well, he will be here soon, Lord willing, and we will spoil him rotten!
