We are having two kinds of visitors this weekend.
First, and most importantly, my dear, dear friend
Shelley is coming tomorrow morning.
I love this friend.
She has been there for me so many
times over our more than
20 years of
friendship.
The kids are equally as excited to
see their Miss Shelley.
The unexpected company is furry.
It is in the form of two small dogs.
My friend, Mister's owner, is in the
hospital dealing with serious complications
from her chemo.
Since she had gotten settled into
her own place Mister's brother Charlie
had joined their household
and so he comes here for the first time
later today.
I'll probably take pictures.
With our own two dogs
and two cats in the mix
it really should lend itself to some
interesting photos.
Unless the photo that gets taken is
me in a fetal position crying on the floor.
But I don't think so.
Please pray for Roxanne.
Cancer stinks!
I would much rather have her
dogs than be in her place at
the hospital.
Update on what is going on with
me as it relates to the vision/headaches.
My doctor called yesterday and is sending
me to a neurologist based on the Eye Doctor's
recommendation. Maybe we can find a way
to prevent any more severe migraines/strokes.
That would be so awesome!
I tell you this because you are so caring
and so sweet.
Thanks!
Hope your weekend is amazing!

Your eye doc is a smart guy! I'm glad that you're following up on this because migraines are the pits whether they're focal or painful or what.
Happy dog sitting today. Yes, I can agree that cancer stinks so have said a prayer for your friend and will whenever the Lord brings her to mind.
Oh! Almost forgot to say have great fun visiting with Shelley!

Praying for you and your friend!
Love the rose in your header! Beautiful.
Have a lovely weekend!
I am praying for Roxanne and for you with those dogs, well at least Mister!
Have a fun weekend.

Glad your eye doc visit went well, although do keep up on trying to find out what the problem could be. Migraines alone can cause vision problems temporarily, so it might not necessarily be an eye problem as such. I hope not! Praying that all will be well for you, Becky... and that you find some ease in this. Enjoy some wonderful time with your dear friend and the fur-sweeties--all creatures great and small. :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
I've loved reading through your recent blog posts this morning, Becky. You leave me determined to find an outlet for my well suppressed creativity (I KNOW it is in there someplace...) and also with a prayer in my heart that your migraines soon become a thing of the past. Blessings from here! Linda
I will be thinking of you all... what a busy weekend.
