Do you ever just play with photos?
I have a cold.
It has made me rather lazy lethargic
but it is too soon to head to bed.
Therefore I decided to play with
my photo editor.
This was a simple exercise in
the removal of color.

It was just for fun....
While I think you can see much detail
in the black and white versions
I find myself thankful that God put
color in the world.
What a gift!

Sigh...I had a comment and it disappeared. Trying again...if this is a duplicate, feel free to delete one.
Is paint.net what you usually use to edit your photos? I'd never heard of it before the other day when I saw a blogger's project. She turned a pic of her little one into a pencil sketch and framed it. Very cute!
I like your pictures both ways but I'm with you on being thankful for color.
Love the photo of the kids in your last post, too. Chelsea's hat is cute and you caught Sarah's expression perfectly.
That's a fun way to use your down time. Hope you're up-and-at-em soon. Take care.
I had not heard of paint.net before, we usually use fotoflexer...
One more thing to be thankful for - color - and the ability to see it! Have a great day!
Photos are neat both ways...Have to look at that website...
Jill <---who is not very computer literate...or a great photographer like, Becky...smile..
Feel better soon. 'Tis the season, I think, for colds. I have one, too. It seems everyone around me is sneezing, blowing their nose, and coughing.
Hello Becky,
Hope you feel better soon and back to your old self in a few days.:o) I love playing around with my photo editor. I am new at it as well and love to spend time just seeing what I can come up with.
The flowers are beautiful. I'm with you, black and white is certainly nice but color is a good thing for sure:o) Feel better soon dear Becky.
Smiles♥
Beverly
