Unlikely Pals

Bandit

Oliver

Can be found playing
together several times
a day.

They wrestle for several
minutes at a time until
Ollie has had enough.

Then he bites Bandit hard,
just once.
They call it done.
For the time being....
and then, hours later
they are back at it again.

Did you notice all of the toys
on the floor?
This is our new normal.
I keep putting them in the
dog crate...they keep pulling them
out. Soon I will see if I can train
Bandit to put them away.
She is so smart.
It would be awesome if she learned to
clean up her toys on command.

Cute pictures of the cat and dog playing with each other. I like the contrast in color too .. black dog, white cat.

That is so cute. We had a little puddle and a big white cat who loved to wrestle too when I was a kid.

And I'm sure that she can! Let us know how it goes. I'd love to know your teaching methods. (I have learned to "sweep" my grandmother's cat with just a sweeping motion of my hand. Used to be that it required a small treat, but not anymore.)

You have moved back into the 'toddler' stage....

They are cute to see playing together!

All those toys and the rough-housing and falling all over! It's like having toddlers all over again!

That is just tooo cute! Unfortunately we had a lab and a calico that could not get along...it was quite an issue until the dog finally bit a little too hard...once the cat healed, she never bothered him again.
