Orange Tulips

All of these photos were taken within a
half an hour of each other as night gave
way to the daylight.

I found these at our local grocery
store and took them to sit on the
piano at church yesterday.

I just had to bring them on home
rather than have them sit and be
lonely this week.

Aren't they just the most perfect shade
of orange? I love them against that
special shade of blue that you can only
find at sunrise or sunset.

Timing can matter in photography.

Stunning tulips, Becky! I don't think that I have ever seen them in such a vivid shade of orange. As we all know, orange is the happiest color.

Hi Becky, thank you for dropping by my blog. I have popped over to you now. What wonderful photographs of the tulips, a very vibrant colour. Also your candles sound and I can almost smell them, great, shame the postage would be too much to order some!!

Phil,my radio ham hubby has a blog dedicated mainly to his hobby:-

They are a lovely shade of orange, with a copper-y cast. Nice use of light and sky, too.

I love orange and I love tulips :D I'm so glad you brought them home so they wouldn't be all lonely at church during the week. The mosaic with the blue background of the sky is stunning. Happy Blue Monday~

Orange is perfect, Becky!!! They are gorgeous and I love the mosaic. I still haven't learned how to do that yet. I MUST learn!

Oh I love those orange tulips, especially against the brilliant blue background; perfect together!

If your tulips start to droop, drop a few pennies into the vase; they'll perk right up.

Really!
