The Roses Last Gasp!
Yesterday, after a cloudy and foggy morning
the sun broke through and provided
great light for still photos.
I am holding out on
the reason I went out to take
pictures but suffice it to say
that Chelsea could not believe
I would take pictures of THAT!
My Neighbor, Ellen, knows because
she drove by and we talked. She
laughed too...but you just wait!
You'll love it.
However, while the roses did very
poorly all summer they are giving
a very valiant effort of a Fall
show. Love these...and the fragrance!
Wish you could smell that through
the computer. It is so soft and pretty.
There is excitement in the air today!
Grandma Georgia is coming home after
three weeks on the road. She had a
wonderful time on her mission trip to
the Native American Pine Ridge Reservation.
Helping children find glasses that fit them
and allowed them to see clearly was their
main push but the needs are so great there
that her whole team is coming back with ideas
galore for helping more. I see another trip
to the West in Georgia's future!
Hope you are having a wonderful day!

That is a very pretty rose and you did great capturing all its beauty. Just think what great stories you will hear when grandma gets home. Blessing to all.
Hi Becky. Wow, I love your roses. Love the first picture, especially. :) My roses are still looking good. We are still having warm days. Not as hot but still warm. Have a great day!

Those pink roses are especially beautiful! You did a great job capturing them, Becky♥

Your photos are beautiful...as are the real thing!
I read your profile...We spent 5 years living in West Chester, PA...loved it, but not the winters (I am a native Florida girl). Two of my sons were born in Phoenixville...
And like you, I homeschooled my 3 boys for many years. Today, each will say they truly appreciate it...They attribute their "outside the box" thinking to homeschooling.
Keep up the good work!

The roses are lovely - I am not ready to say good bye to summer, and roses.
So lovely are your roses, Becky! The last, late roses are always the sweetest ones, I think. :o) Happy weekend to you all there ((HUGS))
I'm glad she made it home safely!
I have a new appreciation for glasses and the help they can be!
