It Could have Been Tragic

My friend of many years has had
a long hard few years now.

First her mother's health went south
and the family moved into the family
homestead with an addition to be built...

Then her husband had a heart attack.
He is fine...

You may remember her daughter, Tabitha, fell and
had internal injuries...

Wednesday evening her son was in an
accident...

He was thrown out of this truck.
He is very bruised, needed stitches...
but broke no bones and has no internal
bleeding.

I am just being thankful today that
Benjamin is going to be ok.

Please give your young driver a hug and
remind them to be careful. These things
happen so quickly and could be so tragic!

I remember those days. Ashley had a fender bender when she was 17 and totaled my car... what a scare! Car crashes are the #1 killers of teens...

You know Becky you are so right, it happens so very quick, within a blink of an eye. We got a call this morning that my young sister had been in an accident, so we rushed over there. I tell you, while she is okay and hurt her head and leg, it nearly made me sick just to think about what could have been. The driver nearly missed her door which could have been tragic. I am so happy this young man is okay. Its just so scary and when things like this happen, especially to family, it makes me so scared to drive!!
