I was so sad to hear of Tim Russert's passing at the age of 58. This was the same age my Dad was when he died nearly three years ago. It is too young, really.
As a news and political junkie I really enjoyed watching Mr. Russert work. He was so real and smart! I am feeling sadness for all that his family will feel over the weeks, months and years to come.

I was watching Shep when the news alert came on Friday.
We will always remember his wipe-off board. I told Evan that Tim R had died and the first thing he said was "No more wipe-off board!" So even young people knew Tim R.
Very sad indeed.
i too admired tim russert, and was so shocked and saddened by his passing. most people don't know it but i am a real political junkie... i always looked forward to his interviews of the candidates. he will be much missed:(
