Do We Trust Him?

Do you really trust God?

That whatever He allows into
your life He will work for
your good and His glory?

That's what His Word says...
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

Kind of has the power to tick us off
when something unpleasant happens and
some sweet, well meaning "church lady"
quotes this smiling all of the way.

Ever been there?

Most likely you have.

Maybe, you, like me have been the person
doing the quoting. It must have been
God's Grace that I haven't been punched
right in the mouth by people I have
"encouraged".

How about this...

But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.
Psalm 33:11

In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
Proverbs 16:9

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21

Nothing is going to get in the way of
Our Father's plan. Not anything we do
or don't do. His plans stand...Forever!

Awesome!

Now, the BIG question...
Do you trust HIS plan?

Are you ok with whatever that may be?

Just asking.

Don't tell me...
tell HIM.

It is HIS plan after all.

I'm thinking on that as I
go for an MRI on my brain
this week.

Do I trust Him?

I think so....
I hope so.

He is certainly worthy of
all my Trust!

Lately Gods timing has been a big topic of discussion in our house. We've got a lot of irons in the fire when it comes to this whole baby-having thing... and it's a struggle to find the balance between his timing and our desperate cry for children.

Thanks for this <3

Excellent question and I will talk to Him about it. :D I often say that the safest place to be in all the world is in the hollow of His hand. That's where I'm picturing you now.

I've had to answer this question this week. It's so comforting to know we serve a God who is worthy of our trust.

"When you can't see his hand, trust His heart."

I promise you my prayers, dear friend. Let me know how it goes, ok?

I agree that God is most certainly worthy of all my trust. I know this deep in my heart-and yet, I spend way too much time worrying-which I realize is the opposite of trusting Him.

I like the quote from George Mueller: "The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety."

I agree wholeheartedly but, oh, do I struggle to live it!

Dear Becky,

Thank you for the beautiful scriptures. Romans 8:28 is one of my favorite passages, what an awesome word. He is indeed worthy of our trust. My Honey goes in for a CAT scan this morning. We are indeed trusting God that all is well.

I will keep you in my prayers my friend. Oh how wonderful to know we serve a God that love us so much. Enjoy a lovely week dear Becky.

Smiles...

Beverly

Hi Becky - I was out of pocket for the weekend - at the farm.

I'll be thinking of you during your test - keep us updated. I know that you rest in the palm of His unchanging hand.
