Some Blue and A Mosaic

In a little while I will
take my oldest son to the
Oral Surgeon for the removal
of four impacted wisdom
teeth.

Neither of us are looking
forward to this.

Edited To Add: We are home!
It seems like Jonathan is
bleeding a lot but I guess it
is what is to be expected.
It is interesting to help a
6'5" "boy" out of the car when
he is woozy. The Doctor put him
into the car.

I'm off to grab some
ice for his face now.

Thanks for all of the well wishes
while we were gone!

But, before we leave I wanted
to find some blue to leave
with you for Blue Monday.

I came across this photo taken
in the Spring at Longwood Gardens.
You may remember that I used it
as a header for a while. It is
just too pretty to ignore.

And then there were these...

Stunning blues...it is so hard to find truly blue
flowers. It is that time of the year to be thinking
about Fall Bulbs...I think I need some Spring Iris
in BLUE!

Now for the Mosaic Monday contribution.
Tidbit caught my eye this week as she
sat in her favorite spot on the windowsill.

She is such a silly girl.
What funny markings on her
face and such a loud purr
this one has!

The bird in this mosaic is a hint
toward another post. It will be
coming soon.

So, if you enjoy the color blue...
you'll have to visit Sally at The Smiling
Sally Blog.
Monday is the day she celebrates
her love of the color blue and hosts a party.
There are always many links to things of blue.

And if the art of mosaic interests you, Mary
is the charming hostess of Mosaic Monday.
Visit The Little Red House Blog for more Mosaic
fun.

Becky, I hope all goes well at the oral surgeon's office. Not to scare you or anything,.. but this brought memories for me, when I had to take my daughter many years ago...My daughter did fine...but

I was the one who passed out!

My now grown daughter has not let me hear the end of that one!
Are you laughing Becky? I bet you are...

I feel for your son. I had two impacted wisdom teeth removed way back when (I think it was about 1956). The blue flowers are beautiful.
Happy Blue Monday.

Ice and pain meds will be his best friends today!

Oh I know how this one goes. I took my 16 year old this summer to get his 4 wisdom teeth out too, and at 6'1" he was quite funny to talk to all woozy :) Mom had quite a laugh at his expense.

Becky, your blues are bluetiful! I love the blues and have a bird bath in blue.
Your kitty is precious and I am curious to see what this bird is doing so, so close. Hope your son recovers quickly.
