I Told Them This Was A Bad Idea....

...Right after I snapped these pictures.

Mikey and our neighbor, J.T.

Always seeking a thrill.

In this case they were going
very slowly.

I did tell them not to
do it again!

How do they come up
with this stuff?

It is a constant battle
sometimes to keep them
from danger.

Worse than when they were
toddlers...that is for sure.

Keep this frazzled Momma
in your prayers, Please???

Young people seem to not realize the danger in whatever they do. Glad this all turned out well and I am sure they had a good time, even if mama was stressed.

Young'uns...there seekers of the trials of defying gravity and doing it for the only reason "I can do it"...then, it's 'hurt time' and they wonder why they do such things. Gotta give 'em credit for living on the edge sometimes tho.

Happy Outdoor Wednesday....mine's posted if you'd like to come visit. I'd love your company today.

My 7 year old son and his cousin are fearless. Luckily their dad's are not far away semi-supervising. I try to keep my blood pressure down.... try.

I could've added this to my post yesterday!

Yes, I can see the potential danger here, I'm so glad I had a girl and not a boy... I don't think my heart could take it (it would be in my mouth too many times if I saw escapades like this)!

My sister raised 5 sons and she quickly learned that what one doesn't think of another will :D
Boys will be adventurous!

I have 3 little grandsons, and they are always coming up with something to make me nervous!
Glad no one got hurt..
No worse than "hitching" which they do here on cars..
Lovely scenery, Becky, and thanks for your visit!

Hi Becky, your pictures are great! I love the setting. I don't know how any mother survives. I am pooped just keeping up with the dog and cat. Ha. Sending a prayer to you this day.

Hugs, Barb

Oh, the days of invincible fun freedom. Look at what fun they are having. I know, I know mom you probably thought you were experiencing the "big one.". As this Ozarks farm chick thinks back many moons ago, it's a wonder any of us made it. I see you share my OCFD (Obsessive Compulsive Flower Disorder) Have a very blessed day!

They are invincible. They age us far more quickly than is necessary. Your photos are terrific. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

O, dear...I got thru it with my children..and my son rode bulls in the rodeo all thru high school and college. In fact, he attended college on a rodeo scholarship. In all those years, i never saw him ride..o, I was at ever single rodeo..I just kept my eyes shut when it was his turn to ride. :O)

NOW..I have 10 grandchildren and one of them rides motorcycles..actually, dirt bikes and broke his back last year. He is fine now but I fall apart every time he climbs on one...whew...does it EVER end?? I THINK NOT!! I have a brand new GREAT GRANDBABY...so...it just keeps on goin'...:O)

I have three sons....all of them like this! :) The two oldest are grown and married (and I still hold my breath when they both decide to get into things like sky diving!) My youngest is 19....and I still get to witness his antics on a daily basis! Totally identifying with you on this one! :)

I hear ya Becky. Toddler years are nothing compared to teen years. I'm finally breathing a little easier now that my 2nd born son is 28....

Becky, when my grandchildren do frightening things I try to remember the time I accidentally hit my brother in the eye with a baseball bat, he was standing too close for an umpire with me swinging. It seems to be a part of the growing up that is necessary to becoming great young men and women. God will hear your prayers and guard them.

I did not know about this until now. I asked him to explain and he giggled. Those boys are going to be the death of me yet.
