A Blue Monday Post...
A Party hosted by
Sally at
Smiling Sally Blog!
Saturday was a much awaited
day at our house. The kids
had been planning and looking
forward to going to Hershey
Park for several weeks. We
hoped and prayed for good weather
as our tickets were special event
tickets and were only good for
that day. So, illness or rain were
potential spoilers.
Thankfully, we awoke to a very lovely
day and everyone felt well enough to
go.
As I posted on Saturday before we left,
I am not a "rider", so as I sat waiting
at each ride the different signs caught
my eye. There is so much blue at Hershey
Park!
I also noticed how great the roller coasters looked against the sky.
The swings were so graceful and called out
to our group. I snapped these as our guys
waited in line.
The park is full of roses.
I loved the way the sun shone
on the roses and the railing here.
The moon was shining brightly when the group was riding
The Great Bear. If you click on this picture you can see
the details on the moon.
I loved this clock.
Warren's Grandfather was a jeweler and
worked on clocks. There are some neat
ones in the family and so they catch
my eye when we are out.
This was such a fun day.
Thanks for stopping by to see
the fun Amusement Park Blues!

You must have had a great time! It looks like a totally fun amusement park. I have hung up my roller coaster days...the carousel is all I would consider now, but my kids will try anything.

I am not a rider, either. It takes me a long time to get my equilibrium back. I love the blue!!
I could take pictures, hold jackets and purses, play Whack-a-Mole, or just stand around with you other chickens. LOL!
Looks like a wonderful day! Happy Blue Monday ~ Susan
Oh wow! This looks like it was such a fun day ♥ Happy Blue Monday...
Judging from the sky, you had wonderful weather for your outing.
I hope today is also a wonderful day for you.
Great photos...looks like you had a wonderful day...there was a time I would have been on that roller coaster...but NOT NOW! You sure found a lot of great "Blues" there! Isn't it funny how blogging makes us look at things in a different way? Have a nice day, and enjoy the nice weather today!
What wonderful photos! You really caught the fun spirit of the amusement park in these. I'm not a rider anymore either, but I love to go and watch.
Happy Blue Monday!
XO,
Sheila :-)
i am not a "rider" either, but i sure enjoyed your photos☺
my father (and my grandfather) collect antique clocks, so i have quite an affection for them too♥
Oh my goodness, what fun pictures, Becky! Happy Blue Monday.

I pass on the roller coasters, too. However, I do like the water rides.
Glad you had a fun day. I am surprised that the color at Hershey Park is mostly blue, and not "cocoa brown"!
WOW! Lots of blue!! Love the moon pic!!
Hadn't been to Hershey Park for a long time..but am in Hershey area about 3 times a year, if not more. Hubby has lots of relatives living in that area. His parents are buried at Hanoverdale Cem.
Hershey is such a beautiful town and especially in the Spring and Summer months. Missed going through the "old Hershey Factory" though. Guess for safety reasons, the new antimated one was built.
