Musical Treat!
Two grown daughters of a couple in our church were visiting
on Sunday. They played the most wonderful renditions of
Morning Has Broken and O The Deep, Deep Love of Jesus.
Sigh! Just heart breakingly beautiful.
I told Sophia and Yolanda afterwards that you could see the
sibling harmony at work even through their instruments.
I always enjoyed singing with Dad because our voices had
a similar tone to them and we blended well. This is part
of what makes family singing groups work so well.
It had never occured to me that you would be able to observe
that same benefit in an instrumental, but I swear you could.
The harmonies they heard and played were very tight and just
made you want to listen forever.
Thank you, ladies, for a wonderful blessing in worship!

Thanks for your comments. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. Tragically 131 have died in the Australian fires, not 1000. ??? But still terrible. I loved reading about the musical concert. Your blog is always so beautiful. How fun...
They are delightful young women and I am so excited that Lindsay will be studying violin with Sophia!
Morning Becky!
I wish I could have heard the wonderful music you enjoyed yesterday, I'm sure it was beautiful!
Blessings,
Carol
My BFF in HS played the cello. She still plays for the Kentucky Philharmonic. She directs the strings, too, I believe.
Nothing prettier.
Oh how lovely!
I love listening to music like that. MY sisters and I used to sing in a trio and to this day when we all sing together there is a harmony there that we cant find with anyone else!
Do they live near me and can they play at a wedding???
Your header matches the backgound perfectly! It is beautiful!!
What delight...nothing like live music...and music given in praise! :o) Happy Days, Becky ((HUGS))
I bet that was beautiful...Morning Has Broken is one of my favorite songs!

You are so right. Their music was so beautiful, it almost brought me to tears and they seemed truly happy to be playing together. I look forward to them doing this again and again, whenever they can.
What a blessing!
