Playing with Large Photos....

Now that we can actually
"see" my photos
I am going to post some of
my favorites from
Winterthur and Longwood Gardens.
The photos in this post
were taken at Winterthur in April 2010.
Makes me want to go back this Spring
to relive the depth of color
and sights of Spring.

My friend, Belinda, told us about Winterthur.
She said it is the most amazing thing to stand in
the woods and be able to turn in any direction
and see Azaleas in bloom.
Belinda was so right.

Azaleas bloom for such a relatively short
period of time that it is like seeing something
few get to enjoy.
A special treasure.

The grounds are so well tended.
Wide paths make it relatively safe from
ticks which are such a problem for us
in the Northeast.

The intense green in the next few photos
is my favorite color ever to be found in nature.
I'm drawn to it and feel like my eyes attempt
to drink it in.
I breathe better when immersed in
woodsy areas where this color
abounds.

Ahhh, revisiting these photos has definitely gotten my day off to a
peaceful start.  Did you ever stop to think about the beauty that God
placed on our planet?
I think it speaks of His love for us.
The earth could have been simply utilitarian....
but instead He gave us all of this!
Flowers, trees, grass and so much more.
It comes and goes in seasons so that we are able
to better appreciate it.

I am so in awe of a Creator who
thinks up stuff like this.
Wow!

More recycled photos to come in the
next week or so.....
I love seeing them again.

Helps the time pass until things are all green
around here again.
It is on its way.
Quickly, really.
Yay!

SOOOO beautiful, Becky! That's a lovely place. I'd love to see that in person, and then you could come to Tyler and visit the Azalea Trails with me! I, too, feel like I'm in my element out in the green ~~~ you got my day off to a great start, too!
