I Can Trust Jesus

The Collingsworth Family sings
this wonderful song. I have
featured it on my songlist
in the past.

Everywhere I go out and about
I hear people truly afraid about
this or that. Money, Swine Flu,
Countries that hate us, War...

Some very dear friends are going
through parent illnesses and other
serious stressors...They are on my
mind today. Some in the blog world
and some in my own personal life.

Remember where our strength comes
from and be encouraged. You do not
face these very real trials alone!

Isn't that great news????

I am holding onto this
myself and...

...praying for you!

Yep, there is much that we can certainly
stress about...

But for all of us
and our individual worries,
it must come back to this:

I Can Trust Jesus
Gerald Crabb/Christian Taylor/BMI

Verse 1
God picked up a sparrow that could no longer fly
He brushed off its wounds and then watched it soar into the sky
If He’s mindful of creation, on this I can depend
I am His child and I can place all my trust in Him

Chorus
I can trust Jesus, I can trust Jesus
He never once has failed to meet my needs
He is my strong tower, the strength in my weakest hour
I can trust Jesus, He takes care of me

Verse 2
I have prayed some prayers and felt they never were heard
But I held to God’s hand and kept right on trusting in His word
My wants and God’s desires don’t always agree
But I lean on His will for He always knows what’s best for me.

I don't remember ever hearing this song before, yet somehow, it sounds familiar! I like that you put the words on your post in addition to the music.

Why not join Spiritual Sundays?
