Vee's October Note Card Party

I didn't think this post was going to happen this month.
In fact, I even told Vee last evening
as I checked in on her after hearing of
an earthquake in her part of the Country
that it probably wasn't going to happen.
But, you know, this party is just too fun.
I think it has to do with the fact that
they have to come from prior posts.
It is so enjoyable to scroll back and remember
where we have been and what we have come through.

I really need to get back out there
 and begin taking photos again.
I had to go pretty far back for these.
It just seems that if the conditions are right
I don't have either the camera or the time.
I'm truly tempted to just make it a priority
and go get me some amazing Autumn views.
Last evening as I headed out to meet Chelsea for dinner
and then pick up Jonathan after his 12 hour work day,
I was mentally drooling over several views
because the sun was setting and the
color temperatures were just delightful.
The leaves are finally beginning to turn here
and while it is not as impressive
as it has been in years past
there is still more beauty
than you can shake a stick at.

For now, though, the theme is pink.
Pink and green...These are some of my favorite photos.
All but one taken at our home.
In our own flower beds or in the case of the bouquet,
 flowers from our gardens.
This next photo was taken at Longwood Gardens
and I thought this was a beautiful way to display
this gorgeous plant.

Thanks for visiting.
I hope you'll come back soon to see
if I follow through on my plans
to get out there and photograph
Autumn landscapes and trees.

To see a very impressive list of posts
just head on over to A Haven for Vee
and check out this Note Card Party.

Exquisite beauty, Becky! You have such an eye for beauty that you really are without an excuse for not having your camera with you at all times, Young Lady! ☺ No, I understand. I so rarely have my camera when I really want it. John is on my case about it all the time.

I'd buy this set. Just sayin'...perhaps you can't afford not to take photos!
