Precious Time..............................

I really needed to stay home and get some work done.
Cleaning, candle orders and cooking.

However,
Chelsea, and our friends, Hannah and Mindy really wanted
me to go along to Longwood Gardens today.

It was cloudy and a bit on the gloomy side
so I figured it was a risk.
Rain is not our friend when it comes to visiting gardens.

But....Chelsea was really wanting to go
and I admit I wanted to go too.

So, off we went.

As we got closer and closer blue sky appeared.
The sun came out and conditions became perfect.
We couldn't believe it.
But we were so thankful.

The reason for the urgency is that as you know flowering
trees don't keep their flowers very long.
It is our favorite time of the year,
well, one of our favorite times of the year in the gardens.

I'll shut up now and show you some of the trees and flowers.....

The girls posed for me with the tree....

Three very different personalities and styles.
Yet they are very good friends.

Not your typical Chelsea style...but funny.
She photo bombed Mindy and I taking each other's picture.

So pretty.....and the gardens smell soooo good.

Definitely worth falling behind just a bit.
You can't get back the time with growing girls.
Each of these young ladies is about to start a new phase in their lives.

One is going to college.
One is headed out on missions.
And the other graduates from high school in just a few weeks.

Just a few more fun shots of them today.

Silly girls.
So different from each other
but so precious all the same.

Your photos are simply gorgeous! Looks like a great family time. I wish I could enjoy this time of the year, but unfortunately the pollen makes me miserable

The niches all lend themselves beautifully to taking pictures of the girls. So cute. I saw a flower that is so unique that I'm wondering if you know the name...it's the one with the furled petals. What a striking pattern it creates!
