In what is a very busy and stressful time
of my year, one in which I delight
as well as struggle,
these verses put into words
what my heart has been feeling.
Psalm 28:6-8
Praise be to the LORD,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.

Yes, He is good. His goodness, however, does not always translate into our lives because we don't always quite "get it." You sound as if today you "got it" very well. I certainly need to "get it" more often than I do. I know that it would mean spiritual benefits and health benefits as well.
