We Did Go In the Gardens! Just a Peek...

All right. I am going to
tease you just a bit.

Chelsea and I did go into
Longwood Gardens today.
I got what must be my favorite
photos ever there today.

It was fun to go very slowly
and enjoy a nearly empty garden.

I wonder if that had anything
to do with the rain that came
down on us at one point.

Well, I don't care...It was
absolutely delightful!

I am going to choose ten photos
to share today.
More tomorrow!

Whew!

This is tough!

I am saving my favorites.

But these are pretty too.

We did not see Mikey working.

I wonder if he saw us....

I guess we will find out later.

There were many, many workers.

Doing many, many jobs.

Such a wonderful visit.
Even with a rain shower.

Please come back tomorrow.
Pretty please.
I could just burst with joy in all of this
beauty God has blessed us with.
It must be shared!

Whoever is working in the garden is doing a wonderful job! I love your new header...is that from this garden, too? What kind of flowers? Zinnias?

Nice photos. I have two favorites of the ones you posted today: the last one and the one with the path.
We'll have to visit Longwood sometime.

Hello Vee,

Those are Dahlias. Aren't they great? Last year they had a Dahlia festival. It was a real treat.

Mikey was working with dahlias yesterday in a photo I'll show tomorrow.

The new header photo is lovely and I am so jealous that you went to Longwood and the photos are amazing. I can't wait to get up your way to go to the gardens in the Fall perhaps. My daughter just sent me our mail as I am still away at the beach and I was so happy to receive your book. Thanks again.
