What I found at the barn sale
as seen in yesterday's post...
The photos are blah...but you'll
get the idea.
First up are two lovely prints
in very pretty frames. ($6)
I hung them on the stairway that
leads to and from the family room.
Amazingly enough, both boys have made
positive comments about them.
At different times.
Cool!
Chelsea fell in "want" with this
fun wall art. ($5) So it is hanging
in the hallway that leads to our
bedrooms now.
She is happy!
Chelsea also spotted this shelf and wanted it for her room.
($3) She will sand and paint it to match her other
pretties. She has asked that it be hung on the wall
sideways...so that will have to involve her Daddy.
We will have to make sure it has the proper support.
Just for fun, I picked this up.
(.25)
So, there you have it.
Courtney had us choose a couple of books at no cost
and gave us many matchbox cars for the trip to El Salvador.
By the way, the latest news about that trip is that Mikey
wants to go with his Grandmother. So, we need to apply for
a passport, post haste, and get him ready to go.
I think it will be an eye opener for this very comfortable
American Teenager to see that not everyone is as blessed as
he is.
Mikey has a very huge and caring heart.
It will be interesting to see how the
Lord uses this time in his life.

That is neat about Mikey going with Grandma Ruth! What a special time for them both.
