This summer has offered up a
host of interesting cloud formations
and beautiful sunsets.
The other evening it was just dusk
and I looked out our picture window
and saw this.
I immediately grabbed the camera
and ran outside. I set our digital
camera on night shots and these are the
results...
Between each of these
similar shots
Was lightning within this cloud.
But could I capture it?
NO!
I was so frustrated.
But still, the cloud is pretty,
don't you think?
Mikey caught these nasty looking
clouds on his way back from a
field trip last week.
I like my cloud better.
It is more ladylike!
Have a wonderful day.
If you happen to be stressed
read the next post.
You never know what little nugget you may
find that will lighten your load.
I just wrote what helped me last
evening before I slept like a baby.

Thanks for stopping by! I love your photos. I just love looking at clouds. Come by anytime.
I remember the fun I had when I was a child looking at clouds & imagining the animals & people I saw in the formations. I can't wait to play that game again when Ethan is older!

Carol
Oh Becky thanks for sharing these beautiful clouds. I like to believe they are a result of God with his paintbrush. Doesn't that just make you furious tho, when you try to get these darn digitals to click at the right time to capture that lightning. I too, have tried and couldn't get it. We'll keep on trying, let's see who can get one first? You have a better chance, at least you have clouds, we can't even get any rain here in Phoenix. Great post honey, thanks so much for sharing. Becky, Beautiful clouds...I find serenity in pictures like that. Your previous post was lovely....I am smiling now.

LOL
I've never thought of clouds being masculine or feminine!
At least you were trying to capture the lightning...as I explained in my post today, the thought had never occurred to me. I can see that it would be a tough task.
Noah was looking over my shoulder and saw your cloud pictures... he commented on how beautiful they were (so you know they really are lovely!☺)
Hi Becky!
I am so thrilled that you stopped by and even more so that you loved the post. Some ideas just pop into my head. I never know what might come up next. Saturday's is already in there just waiting to pop out. As always it was great to have you stop by. Take care my friend. Country Hugs, Sherry
Hi Becky! If you want lightning, come here to Orlando....we are the lightning capital of the world. Yikes!!!
So good to hear from you today....missing you!
