Peace...We Seek It

Today the Moms, Warren's and Mine, will
leave for Israel. They have been planning
this trip for quite some time and have
wondered if the political situation would
allow them to go.

At this point it seems they will make
the trip. So, my mind goes to the word
peace.

Peace I leave with you;
my peace I give you.
I do not give to you
as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be
troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27

I pray for at least two weeks of peace in this
beloved land. The very land on which my Savior
walked.

LORD, you establish peace for us;
all that we have accomplished
you have done for us.
Isaiah 26:12

I pray for great flights,
easy connections,
a great travel group and
a meaningful time.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phillipians 4:7

Before our families were connected
through marriage both couples, My parents
and Warren's, traveled to the Holy Land in
the 1970's. They were in different tour
groups and never met but the memories they
share make this trip unique in each woman's
ability to understand the other.

I hope the next two weeks are filled with
happy memories and that God grants Mom and
Georgia many new experiences to file away
in their memory banks.

That is so cool! I traveled to Israel in 1984 and I still treasure the memories of that trip.
