My son is almost 14 now and has been called "genius" but with mild cerebral palsey, he is often left out of physical things. He is growing to be a godly young man and for that I can take everything else. Thanks to the Lord and my husband, our son is a miracle baby and a man after God's own heart. Bless you and I hope your story gets published.AnnMarie aka Vintage Junkie aka NaNahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01969507879772949374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696888066087897864.post-48824242834045191052012-06-20T17:41:10.551-04:002012-06-20T17:41:10.551-04:00A beautiful and heartwarming story - it deserves t...A beautiful and heartwarming story - it deserves to be published - how about "home school news" or even parents magazine - somewhere - everyone need to experience this - God did not make us all alike - He so loves variety. i.e snowflakes, flowers, etc.sammysgrammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02306018146687609494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696888066087897864.post-13930634114171848492012-06-20T14:35:28.513-04:002012-06-20T14:35:28.513-04:00Good for you. This made me realize my son probably would have benefitted from home-schooling. It's a blessing that we get to fast forward to the end results and see the success of your efforts. With your writing gift, you should pray about how you can encourage and support the homeschool community at large. They need you! xoSusyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04237605450221263831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696888066087897864.post-62106826320333112292012-06-18T14:40:57.346-04:002012-06-18T14:40:57.346-04:00Today is June 18, 2012. I have so many questions about the future, but I know that God has it all in His wonderful control. HE has a purpose for Jonathan, and for your son. I believe we are seeing it even in the faith it builds in us.

Please come back and chat again.Becky K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10531485758141842829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6696888066087897864.post-62746493158472345622007-09-11T18:46:00.000-04:002007-09-11T18:46:00.000-04:00Hello,I happened upon your blog while visiting ano...Hello,
I happened upon your blog while visiting another. I believe it was a God-thing. Our family has been through a very similar experience, (even including the whole hoover vacume delivery method). I have homeschooled both my children and my oldest, my son, has significant learning differences due to a progressive neurological disorder. We went the "Special Ed" route with much the same success as your family. When the Lord called my husband and I to bring our babies home to homeschool them my son blossomed. He is not, and never will be, on the same level as his peers but he is exactly where I believe the Lord wants him ... in close relationship with Him.

I just wanted to give you a virtual ((hug)) and say, "well done"! Our son is now attending community college with some modifications for his deafness, vision and other neurological difficulties. He is enjoying his classes and doing well. I have no doubt your son, Jonathan, will enjoy the same success in the future because his mom loved him and homeschooled him.
Blessings,
DeborahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
